We're proud of our strong client relationships. Website development can sometimes be a confusing and intimidating endeavor. hexive's customer focused approach is designed to make the development cycle as streamlined and friendly as possible.
Here is a selection of our best work for some pretty amazing people:
APSIA:
Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs
We have a 10 year long-term client relationship with APSIA. They were one of the first organizations to serve all of their website content from a database-driven content management system — and we are excited to be a part of that history. They continue to use web-technology today in innovative ways to support their 30+ member university consortium.
Ms. & Mrs.
Special Occasion Survival Kits
This mother-daughter company was ready to take their wholesale business direct-to-the-customer with a brand new retail site. We were able to help them translate their amazing designs to the web as well as build a functional and easy to use shopping cart and checkout system. We’ve enjoyed the technology scaling issues that come with their growing success.
CISSM:
Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland
A research center based at the University of Maryland contacted us with a specific need. They wanted a refreshed website with a particular focus on papers associated with various projects and people in the organization. hexive built a custom online publishing system that allows CISSM to upload, categorize and dynamically display these papers on their public website.
PPIA:
Public Policy & International Affairs Fellowship Program
PPIA is 5 year long-term client. In addition to their public site, hexive built and maintains two intranets that serve members of their 30+ university consortium as well as an alumni network of more than 10,000. We also helped PPIA develop an entirely paperless online application, admissions, and evaluation process for their summer program.
Sometimes you just need a simple promotional website — add a splash of color with some compelling text and you are done.

We do this for fun as well. Here are some websites we've worked on for personal & friend projects:

A few additional older projects that we were excited to work on (some of these sites are no longer viewable):
MCBA:
McLean County Bar Association
We developed an online database of all McLean county attorneys for MCBA. Law firms login to create and edit their public profiles. We also built categories to help people find the kind of attorney they were looking for on the site with a custom “Find a Lawyer” search.
MTA | Iran News:
Harvard University
This research organization wanted a way to showcase recent relevant news coming from Iran. In the early days of the weblog we set up a quick blog publishing tool and set up user accounts so their associates could publish timely news as it happened.
Fair Fund
Civic Activism
We helped this non-profit clean up some old confusing ASP code on their site. We also helped them add new pages and updated their navigation a bit. Definitely a fun collaboration.
Great Cookware
Gift Registry
A Yahoo cookware store wanted to expand it’s services to include an online gift registry. We built tools to upload and edit new products, track inventory, and allow public users to sign into accounts and select wish-list items from an internal shopping cart of products.
